It would appear that our good buddy, Jim Sterling of Destructoid, has gotten an epiphany when it comes to pirates and the overall copyright dealio. In the latest installment of his show, The Jimquisition, Sterling delves deeper in to the matters at hand and tells us how he sees pirates this day and age, alongside his views of the copyright laws. A must see video, if only to broaden your horizon on the subject. Agree with it or not, he does have good points.
"Piracy is one of those issues that will absolutely never die, like the secrets of the Bermuda Triangle of the truth of the Zelda Timeline. Jim Sterling has always had a set view on piracy -- it's not the worst crime in the world, but it's selfish theft nonetheless. However, in the wake of corporate attempts to buy our legal system, he has reexamined the piracy issue and come away with a rather altered stance."
