Bi-Han, better known as Sub-Zero, was a Lin Kuei assassin in the Mortal Kombat franchise. The alternate timeline of this character begins with him working for Shang Tsung, to fight Earthrealm warriors in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Finding succes, Bi-Han quickly finds himself facing off against another Lin Kuei named Scorpion, who accuses him of killing his clan. Bi-Han is defeated.
Whilst Scorpion made a deal with Raiden, not to kill Sub-Zero, he found himself accompanied by the sorcerer Quan Chi, who showed him illusions of Sub-Zero leading the charge on his clan. Thus, Scorpion was swayed away from doing the right thing and used a fatal attack on Bi-Han. Before his death, Bi-Han attempted to say that those images weren't him, but to no luck.

Finding this an excellent opportunity, Quan Chi resurrected Bi-Han as the wraith known as Noob Saibot. Noob is now working for Quan Chi.
Later, as Noob was assisting Quan Chi in creating a devestating Soulnado, he was challenged by his younger brother, Kuai Liang. Kuai had taken the name Sub-Zero after his brother's death, but then found himself initiated in the Cyborg Initiative, turning him in to Cyber Sub-Zero. It was during this challenge, that Noob Saibot revealed his identity to his brother and informed him he was unfit to carry the Sub-Zero name. Kuai defeated his brother and tossed him in to the Soulnado, right before it blew up, making his faith unknown to the world.

Noob Saibot uses phantom powers, allowing him to generate a shadow version of himself. He is called Noob, and his shadow is called Saibot. This shadow can be slid over to their enemy at great speed or Saibot can rush over to their opponent and tackle them. Noob can also use his shadow powers to generate portals and launch a phantom ball that can disable their opponent's blocking.

I freaking love this character in Mortal Kombat (2011). Admittedly, I was a bit tough on the game when I was writing my review. Though the game bosses are downright cheating, I've grown good enough to be able to get to Shang Tsung without relying on too many cheap tricks on my part. Much of that is thanks to Noob Saibot.
At first, I wasn't exactly keen on using this character. You see, Debaser, of Debased To This, is a massive Mortal Kombat expert. When people think of Debaser and Mortal Kombat, one of the things people immediately associate him with is Noob Saibot. So, that's why I was kind of reluctant. But it turned out to be for the best.
Whilst not a perfect character, in this installment, Noob has enough tricks up his sleeve to warrant a varying playstyle. His combination attacks are easy to use, his special abilities work perfectly with regular combat and his fatalities are just gory as fuck. I especially like the one where he sinks a character halfway down the ground and shreds him in half so that the character crawls on the ground, quite dying.
Noob might not be as fast as Smoke, but, he is definitely fast enough. Online is still a whole different matter, because that place is filled with spammers and people with lousy connection, but ...

As for the signature and avatar set, I wanted to keep it in the same vein as the Smoke set. Though different in some ways. I think that this is definitely my style of making sigs, as this is one of my best, or perhaps the best, I have ever done.
And, for the name, Revan is a screenname I'm trying out. Might start using it permanently. Though I am still just sampling it.

Tell me what you think of the set and the new name!
