tHop - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Once upon a time I found myself reading a book. This book was hyped and praised at my school, yet I didn’t think too much of it at the time. The only reason I bought the book was because my interest was piqued. Why were all my classmates so hung up on this book and its sequels?
Two weeks later I had finished all the books of the series that were out at the time. I loved these books. Every single letter was pure and concentrated awesome sauce. For the sequels to come, I picked up either on day one or as close to day one as possible.
As with every good book series, this one as well had been given an adaptation to the big screen. Movie after another came, each time faithfully maturing alongside the book series. Though not exactly the world’s most faithful adaptations when it came to the story, it really tried its best to capture the magic. And now, 2010, these chapters will come to a final close. The last book had already been written and read. And now it’s time for the final two movies to be shot and seen. Welcome to tHop and let’s go hunting for some Deathly Hallows!

The finale of the world wide phenomenon. The motion picture event of a generation. Presented in 2 parts. Part 1 November 2010. Part 2 July 2011. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Complete the journey in 3D.
These are the texts that come by on the screen as the trailer goes on. Accompanied by spectacular images from the movie and a kickass theatrical song that really gets the blood pumping, we are given the first glimpse of how the pages of the book would look like on the big screen.
We see scenes that seem to literally jump straight out of the pages, like we have seen them in our own minds. The trailer begins with Harry Potter and Voldemort facing each other in one of the last scenes in the book. From there we cut to some scenes involving the journey Harry and his friends have to take and what Voldemort is doing to the world. Scenes from both movies pass through the trailer and build up to what will be an event nobody wants to miss.
The trailer does a pretty dang good job of showing the fans what they can expect from the translation. It once again sets a mood that the previous movies have been building up to. Like the book, this movie seems to be getting some color back. The Half Blood Prince returned the Harry Potter series to a more light hearted world instead of the continuously becoming more and more dark and more and more terrifying. Although the event seen at the end of that movie is pretty dang dark, it still gave a nice mood for the next movie. Like the last book, these movies will show a world that is engulfed in darkness, but that still is covered in hope. Hope that the darkness will be destroyed and that there can be joy in people’s hearts.
At least, that’s how I see it. I mean, the movies became more and more grey as they progressed until it started to get more color in Phoenix but really pushed the number of colors on the pallet in Half Blood.
Anyways, this is one movie I’m not going to skip out on! Or, movies …
