Elisabeth Claira Heath Sladen, born Februari first of 1948, passed away on April 19th of 2011. Perhaps better known to the world as Sarah Jane Smith, Sladen was the companion to several incarnations of the famous Doctor Who, even returning in the new series for a cameo appearance. Following this appearance, Sladen was given the chance to run her own show, The Sarah Jane Adventures, which was a kids show based in the Doctor Who universe.
She was an excellent actress and will be remembered always as a strong woman. Rest in peace, Elisabeth.
