Woman embezzels money for the mafia

  Photobucket

Now, this is definitely not as exiting as I'm making it out to be.

Bettysue Higgings, a 54 year old woman from Gardiner, pleads guilty in court for embezzling 166.000 dollars from her employers. She was an administrative assistant for the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. She forged the name of the company's executive director, Steven Prince, made the cheques payable to her in cash and then forging the acounting records to make that money disapear. She got caught when of the cheques Prince wrote himself bounced.
Now, here's the kicker. She stole that money and used the lion share of it to use for payment in Zynga games such as YoVille and Mafia Wars.
She could spent five whole years in jail because ... well, this isn't the first time she's involved with embezzling money.

And now we wait for some politician to rise up against Facebook and it's offering of violence and criminally enticing games. I don't know about you, but I'm keeping one eye on farmers at all times now.
