After two unimaginably unimpressive posters, the trailer for the highly anticipated sequel has finally arrived. I say highly anticipated, but that's just for me. Men in Black was a great movie, but was followed up by a sequel obviously made for the cash. Now, it seems, the MiB is back.
The trailer shows that the movie stays true to the original movie, making Jay a wiseass, but a man of strength. Whilst Kay is ... well, Kay. This time however, Jay must once again go after his partner and bring him back. Only now, it's back from the dead. One day, Jay finds out that Kay has been dead for 40 years. Welp, time to jump through time and find out what killed him. Once back in 1969, Jay is greeted by young looking Agent K, where the trailer ends.
Men in Black II was fast paced. One scene moved straight in to the next, almost never giving us time to breathe or enjoy the moment. It was a rapidfire of jokes and action scenes, making the entire movie feel bland. Having so many things come at us, made it feel like nothing much happened at all, save for some insanely stupid stuff.
This time around, things seem to be, as stated before, going back to basics. Leaning more to the style seen in MiB, MiB III is looking to be a great movie. I definitely have to see this.
