Woe is the internet! Headshot Gaming has fallen ... but, never fear. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Voletic is born. Celebrating the launch of this wonderful, new site, I interviewed one of the leading men behind it, Jordan.
What is Voletic?
Voletic is a geek/gaming culture website focusing on the community side, with also some videos by our home staff to help attract people in, and so we can have our own say on the goings on in the gaming world
Who are the masterminds behind it?
The great thing about Voletic is that everyone has chipped in a little bit with ideas, Shinso has been amazing and coded the whole thing entirely by himself, which is no small feat considering the size of the job, and the fact he is doing it for free. All of the staff have added their ideas in, and we've had long debates about the direction of the site, and thanks to that (Headshot Gaming was really just my design and shinso's work), I think we've created a damn good website.
Why did you decide to make Voletic?
Originally it was to be the next version of Headshot Gaming, however as work continued we realised that we where making something completely different, and that a fresh start would be best.
Where do you want to see Voletic go in the future?
I want it to be a huge user driven community hub, I would love to be able to do contests, giveaways, spotlights and so much more. I really enjoy reading all the random things gamers can write about, and hopefully one day we will have a large amount of bloggers and youtubers using Voletic as their homesite!
