Max Payne 3 trailer

The Remedy Entertainment developed, 3d realms produced and Rockstar Games ported franchise returns for its third installment. This time, Rockstar is soly behind the wheels, driving forth this game to success.
Once again we find our hero Max in a Third Person Shooter, this time driven by the Rage and Euphoria engines. Returning to his part is voice actor James McCaffrey, who will now also provide the motion capturing a la Uncharted.

"Leaving the gritty film noir New York City of Max Payne and its sequel behind for a more tropical environment (though still a major city), Max Payne's next game takes him to São Paulo, Brazil. According to the latest Game Informer scans from the magazine's July issue cover story, the "disrepute" Mr. Payne has fallen into can be attributed to 12 "lost years" between the events of the first two Paynes and the upcoming game."

Also included in the game will be a multiplayer mode.

Personally I am quite looking forward to this installment of the franchise. Whilst I found the first two games to be masterpieces in their days, they aged abysmally and I find myself unable to play them due to certain sections of the games. So I'm quite looking forward to playing this third game, that seems to be going a new direction whilst still maintaining that Film Noir vibe.

Developed for Windows, the 360 and the PS3, Max Payne 3 is slated for a release in March of 2012
