tHop - Step Up Revolution

It's time to step up, moviegoers, to visit yet another installment in this particular franchise. Announced a while ago, Step Up 4 never managed to bring on the same magic as we have seen with previous installments. However, that has all changed with this trailer.

Welcomed by Big Willy, the franchise sets port in Miami. Emily, played by Kathryn McCormick, arrives in Miami with a dream of one day becoming a professional dancer. When Sean, played by Ryan Guzman, enters the scene, that all changes. Sean, you see, is the leading man of a dance crew. This crew, named The Mob, is frequently involved in elaborate and cutting-edge flash mobs. When Emily is fully in love with The Mob, it all comes trembling down. A wealthy businessman, played by Peter Gallagher, threatens to build over The Mob's neighborhood and displace thousands of people. Now it's up to The Mob to step up beyond their Flash Mob routine and protect their home.

It has the potential of being a far better story than Step Up 3, along with the potential of having a lot better dance scenes. And no dance acts that are incredibly fucking scripted. No, this movie seems to be taking it all back to basics, to Step Up. I like that about this movie. At first I was extremely wary, but now I'm positive it'll all turn out okay.

Also, Moose & company are back :3
