Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Leonardo
Leonardo, or Leo for short, was born a regular ol' turtle alongside his three brothers, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello.Nameless at the time, they found themselves inside the sewers of New York, splashed by a green ooze. Taking pity upon them, a rat called Splinter takes them in, touching the ooze in the process.
Soon the five found themselves mutated, as they become more humanoid and more intelligent. Splinter named them after renaissance masters, giving leadership of the four turtles to Leo.
Leo is the most collected of the four, often being a perfect balance of his three other brothers. However, he doesn't really think of himself as a leader, more as an equal. Although, in his behavior, he really is the man that they can rely on. He puts family and friends first, only relaxing when at home with his brothers.
Out of the four, Leo has always been my favorite. Not just because of his kickass blades, but because of his everyman qualities. Kind of like Nathan Drake. Many have a fondness of Raph, because of his badassness. Whilst that's true, I found his attitude to be waaaay overboard. Hence, back to Leo, the calmer Raph, in a sense.
