A lantern is a member of the Green Lantern Corps, a police organisation of the Guardians, tasked with protecting the known DC universe. Existing for over three billion years, the Corps has grown to have at least 7200 members, known as Green Lanterns.
The story of the greatest Green Lantern of all time, Hal Jordan, is being put on the big screen. Ryan Reynolds will be picking up the ring of the Green Lantern to grace us with what looks to be a fantastic movie.
After viewing this trailer I immediately felt inspired to create a signature. Several hours later I managed to come up with something simple yet effective.
Here we have the symbol of the Green Lantern Corps with the initials of my screenname in the middle. Add in a custom made background blended in with a thunder render and voila, a signature.
This is not why this Jag was created though, oh no. Here we have a piece of art from one of the contributors over at www.tehpwnshop.com. It's an amazing piece that really shows the skill that this artist has.
Mel Rains, of http://melrains.deviantart.com , is the creator of this image. This is a drawing of the Green Lantern known as Hal Jordan. I especially like the green energy version of the symbol on his chest that seems to be ready to pop and blow some suckers away. Plus, there's also the details that are just cool to discover.
