I realized I may have focused too much on the character without going in to as much detail with the rest, perhaps even confusing some people. So here's a few clarifications:

Right, let’s start off with the beginning here. Devil May Cry was first released in 2001. Made by the people behind the great series known as Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry turned out to be something completely new. What started off as another Resident Evil sequel, ended being a whole new series that now featured a Hack & Slash style gameplay featuring a fantastic leading man known as Dante, who was badassery incarnated. He was accompanied by great gameplay, awesome music and a nice enough world.

Chapter Five

Consider this: If you’re pokémon are dead after they faint, doesn’t that mean that all other pokémon should be considered dead as well? Think about it. You’re commiting mass murder here by having innocent creatures duke it out to their death. I just killed two innocent pokémon and I got a badge for it, but after I brutally slayed dozens of pokémon to make my pokémon stronger.

Enough of that! Back to the game!

Playing through this, Nuzlocke style, made me realize just how much the old ways are branded in to my brain. I keep putting my pokémon at risk only to realize in the nick of time that I need to peddle back before I lose them. If I’m going to make this a successful run, I need to get my act together. And fast. Managed to keep my pokémon faint free for now, though. Here’s to hoping I keep up that trend.
