<b>Pokémon Adventures: Red
Arc</b></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: center;">
<u>Review</u></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Right off the bat, I want
to make it perfectly clear that I'm not exactly a big reader of
Manga. I've read several issues of Death Note and Naruto, but that's
it. So, at least I was prepared enough to be used to the fact that I
need to read from right to left. However, I highly doubt that all of
the Manga reading in the world would have been enough to prepare me
for the Pokémon Adventures Manga.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Pokémon Adventures might
also be known under the name Pokémon Special (PokéSpe for short).
The creator of the franchise, Satoshi Tajiri, said that this manga
most closely resembled the world that he was trying to create. The
reason for this is that the manga follows the videogames instead of
the anime adaptation. Volumes one through three of PokéSpe follows
the adventures of a young trainer named Red, who's story differs
greatly from the adventures of young Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town.
How different? Well, let's take a look.
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/Nephilim01/media/Buttons/Pokemon_Adventures_logo_zps396f39a3.png.html" target="_blank"><img alt=" photo
Pokemon_Adventures_logo_zps396f39a3.png" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Buttons/Pokemon_Adventures_logo_zps396f39a3.png" /></a></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Many of the individual
chapters of the story are stand-alone pieces, that tend to flip flop
forwards in time and location from any moments notice. In the games,
and in the anime, the progression of the story only appears to flow
more naturally because of that fact that the main characters actually
travel. However, once you start to get with the flow of the story,
you start to see that this way of storytelling is equally as good as
the other. So, even though the story might jump from one city to the
other with just one comic in-between, you wind up liking its fast
paced nature. Since this means there's barely any filler.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Now, the story itself is
quite interesting to say the least. From the very beginning of Red's
adventure, it's quite clear that Team Rocket is a driving force of
the plot. Luckily, Jessie and James are nowhere to be found. It's all
about the menacing group of terrorists that made your life, and
everyone else's life in the games, miserable. They're extremely
dangerous, and aren't afraid of ending the life Pokémon if they have
to. Another great aspects of the Manga's Rockets is that they have a
few members of note that I had never seen coming. Characters from the
game and the anime, who weren't part of Team Rocket, will now be key
antagonists. Which actually brings more elements of the story
together under one umbrella, which is in fact a very good thing when
it comes to presenting your story. Though, like I said, the fast past
progression is something to get used to. Because it made it appear
like Red, our main character, buggered off on an adventure without
telling his mum.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
This in turns brings us to
the characters. Who, despite having a part to play in the grander
scheme, all have a miniature story of their own. Character driven,
and equally as entertaining to follow. Of course you have Red, who
immediately proves he is a far better character than Ash was during
the Kanto region. On one side you have Ash, who didn't even know how
to catch a Pokémon, that Pokémon have type strengths and weaknesses
and that hitting Pokémon with ROCKS isn't a smart idea. Then there's
Red, who already has a Pokémon and has formidable knowledge of the
Pokémon world. Not to mention he showcases his strategic skills
very, very early on. Throughout the course of the series, he stays
his bashful and energetic self, whilst also learning a lot from his
rival.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
There are two characters
in the series who are named Blue and Green. Depending on region, Gary
Oak is either Blue or Green. My version has him as Green, so keep
that in mind when I say that Green is his main rival. Totally
opposite from Red, Green is a cocky bastard who uses his brain more
than his heart. Then there's Blue, who is an amazingly fun
con-artist. She's based on the design originally intended to be the
female character in Pokémon Red & Green. You can never quite get
a grasp on her character, as they really pull a few twists here and
there to keep the mystery alive.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
When the smoke clears, and
the Red arc is done and over with, you can't deny that each of these
characters is quite inspired and fun to follow. Definitely more so
than the misadventures of Ash. Hell, even manga Misty is more
enjoyable than season 1 Misty.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/Nephilim01/media/Buttons/396px-PokemonAdventures1_zpsd686fa9d.png.html" target="_blank"><img alt=" photo
396px-PokemonAdventures1_zpsd686fa9d.png" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Buttons/396px-PokemonAdventures1_zpsd686fa9d.png" /></a></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
So, the story is good and
the characters are great. However, that still doesn't mean that this
isn't a weird as balls Manga. Trust me when I say that you will not
be prepared. Many will agree with me that the Japanese culture can
have a bit of a weird streak when it comes to their franchises. That
was severely downplayed in the games and in the anime, but it comes
through brilliantly in the manga. Here's a mental image that will
help bring across the Pokémon world that was created here. Now, you
remember that one time Ash tried to catch Pidgeotto? He used
Caterpie, but then Pidgeotto actually tried to EAT CATERPIE. Well,
that entire image … magnify it by ten and you'll have this manga.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Not to mention the weird
way that Pokémon Battles and Gym Battles are presented. It's played
out to be more like a real fight than the clean battles we see in the
games and in the anime. There's no match. People just come, fight and
seemingly use multiple Pokémon at a time even. Hell, many Gym
Battles aren't even real battles when you stop to think about it.</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
As for the art itself...
yeh, I can dig it. Sure, the panels can get a bit crowded. And
sometimes you won't be able to tell what's going on. But, in the end,
it's beautifully drawn and really old school cartoony in feel. Fluid
is the better way to describe it, where animators weren't being cheap
by duplicating the same panel a thousand times.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Overall, it's a pretty
good experience. You'll want to know what happens next to Red and the
weird stuff just gets you involved with the story that much more. A
definite recommendation, for everyone who was or is a fan of the
Pokémon franchise.

<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Greyarch/?action=view&current=WIDS.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Greyarch/WIDS.png" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Why it doesn't suck</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<u><i>Stargate Universe</i></u></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The very first time that this show aired here, I had no idea how to feel about it. It had loads of potential, but failed to deliver on the same charm that both SG-1 and Atlantis were known for. Episode after episode passed, never really a good enough reason for me to continue watching. The writing was overly gritty and overdrawn, resulting in episodes that were grand in scale, but moved along at a snails pace. Eventually I just gave up, without giving it another look. Until recently. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's the thing about Stargate Universe ... the first half of season one is a bump you need to get over. The original episodes of Air are a good starter to the series, but then it goes stale pretty fast. Writing seems to be focused on the characters on the boat, which might have been a good thing if they had been written competently. Everyone, save for Rush and Wallace, are unlikeable to say the least. The continuous troubles of the boat are too prominent, due to the fact that there are no alien races to speak of. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luckily, there's a mid-season break. The best thing that could have happened to the series. Because afterwards, everything becomes monumentally better. Characters become more more complex, and are given a chance to make themselves liked among the viewers. Or disliked, depending on how the character was written. Whilst the charm of the previous series is still lacking, and the crew is far from being a unity, things are shaping in to something that could be fantastic.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Enter season 2. It's in this season that things really start to be Stargate. Those characters that we've gotten to know are growing in to actual, human beings. Instead of the gritty, overly dramatic beings that they've been in season 1. Other characters are really growing for the first time, giving the audience a real chance to connect with them. Just look at Volker and Mister Brody, two characters that I've grown particularly fond of during season 2. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Also, for once, the distrust is portrayed rather believably, as we get to see that Rush is actually hiding something. But, it's also nice to see that the whole, Young vs Rush motif was starting to evolve at that point, making their eventual, final battle all the more poignant. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then there's how they introduce other civilizations. Spectacularly brilliant, if you ask me. Though, the inclusion of an enemy like the original, simplistic Replicators was a tad bit overboard. Still, the overall storylines were intriguing, touching and heartbreaking at times. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And then came Gauntlet, the final episode. The single most brilliant episode and ending I have ever seen before. It wraps up ... well, not even close to anything really. It's a bittersweet ending, and we're given a cliffhanger that will make you remember this series for years to come. To quote Tumblr on this one, "My feels ;_;"</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Stargate Universe belongs in the top when it comes to the best science fiction series out there. It might start off wonky, but it ends beautifully. Many people didn't exactly give it the chance that it deserves. There's definitely a good fanbase there, but the critics are mostly mixed or negative about the show. Whilst even most of the people that have seen it go for the negative reviews. If you're still on the fence about seeing it, or were like me in not wanting to give it a chance after a horrible first half, then don't be afraid to pick it up and stick through. It gets better, trust me. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Why it doesn't suck</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<u>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 </u></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" frameborder="0" height="225" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/coiTJbr9m04" width="400"></iframe> <u></u></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<u><br /></u></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, here goes! Call of Duty. Is he seriously coming at us, saying that Modern Warfare 3 doesn't suck? Is he being serious? Why yes. Yes I am. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Call of Duty is but one of the many annual titles out there, and it's starting to get a lot of flack because of it. Even with development lasting over two years, due to switching studios, they're still saying these titles come out way to quickly. Perhaps the CoD title is over-saturated, but that still doesn't mean that these games are bad. Far from it in fact. Let's take a closer look at the latest Modern Warfare title, MW3. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Michael Bay is a studio director, and it definitely shows in the moneymaking products he oozes out every so often. From start to finish, they're designed to tickle the entertainment bone of the masses. Same goes for Modern Warfare 3. It's an action spectacular, treating you to everything a gamer would want out of a game. It's got its epic set pieces, its quiet stealth sections, a B-grade action movie plot, a dramatic plot twist and a shock moment designed to pull you in even deeper. Mind you, that shock moment was horrible and the devs oughta be ashamed. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To me, everything mentioned before the shock moment was what made this game so great. The single player was a lot of fun to play. Gunning through the stock market and seeing the Eifel Tower fall? How couldn't that be fun! It was made even more fun by making the controls as basic as possible. Everything you needed was there, and it was all where you expected it to be. Even the handling itself was smoothed to perfection. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now, enough about the single player experience. Now on to the meat. The Multiplayer. Better known as the<span style="font-size: small;"> <span style="font-weight: normal;"><span dir="auto">Raison d'être. For most people anyways, seeing as the multiplayer is more than likely still played to this very moment. Like with the single player, it's a streamlined experience. Whilst the entire thing isn't quite as imaginative as it could have been, it still tries to stay loyal to that same B-movie sillyness that we know and love. It's not so much about skill like Counter Strike, but more so your wits. You need to learn the lay-out of the maps, the most likely locations of other people, camping spots, shortcuts and much more. Otherwise, you definitely won't be able to get any of the cool toys. Most of all, it's fast. And therefore it's tickling that same entertainment bone that Michael Bay is tickling by making everything fast and furious. </span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span dir="auto"><br /></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span dir="auto"> That is Modern Warfare 3. It's a fast experience, a lot of fun and it offers you some epic things to look at whilst you're having fun. The only reason why it sucks is because it's more of the same for the franchise. They haven't really strive to push the envelope. They'd rather stick with what's safe and maybe change the setting every so often. *glares at Black Ops* </span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Greyarch/?action=view&current=TVReviews.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Greyarch/TVReviews.png" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Young Justice: Invasion </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<u>Darkest</u></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Shit just got real. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It would have been difficult enough as it was to match the previous episode in quality, but "Darkest" managed to stay on the same level, whilst using a whole different angle. Whereas "Satisfaction" was all about character development, with minor progression in the story, "Darkest" changes that around and gives us a story element that changes the entire dynamic of the show. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The minor parts of the episode are found in developing the relationship between a few characters. Plus, giving more insight in the character of Bart Allen and the future he came from. And some insight in the relationship between Jaime Reyes and his superfantastic suit. As is usual, these parts are well done and don't intrude on the overall story, due to the fact that they are a part of the story or they're placed in such a manner that you honestly don't mind. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Of course, the bigger picture is where it counts. Apparently, Aqualad isn't quite yet trusted by the people he works with. You'd think the whole Artemis situation would have cleared him from suspicion. But, here we are. Now, Aqualad is being forced to use the information he has on The Team in order to get in for the realz and earn the respect needed to be introduced to The Light and their mysterious partner. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ahem, SPOOOOIIIIILLLLLEEEEEEERRRRSSSSS. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Aqualad was tasked to bring in some of his old friends. Only, not quite so like he did with Lagoon Boy. You see, he has to go and pick them up from Mount Justice, all the while also having to blow it up in the end. This entire plotline is beautifully dark for a show like this.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
However, all is not as it seems. Aqualad isn't exactly tripplecrossing his teammates here. He used the entire invasion of their homes as a way to get crucial information to Nightwing, so that he and his team might be able to infiltrate the enemy base and save Lagoon Boy. And the three teammembers caught by him in the end. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Though, Aqualad's loyalty towards the good fight is kinda questioned after he blew up Mount Justice, another way to really, really, really raise the stakes. Kid Flash isn't exactly fond of the way that everything turned out, as Aqualad might have actually killed people there. Luckily, that wasn't the case. Still, these events change everything in such a way that makes me incredibly curious as to see what's coming next. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
SPOILERS END HERE, YO. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All in all, another fantastic episode in the series. The animation was smooth, the voice acting was superb, the script was good and the story itself is simply amazing. If you weren't a fan of the second season by now, then by god you will be now. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

Review</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
DC Nation is once again
gracing us with its glorious presence, returning Young Justice to the
little screen. The eight episode has hit, and its aptly called
“satisfaction”, as it really does hit all the right notes. So,
without further delay, let's go straight in to the episode!
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Overall, the episode
brought us what we wanted the most out of the second season. From the
first line of dialog spoken, we get a steady stream of character
development tossed our way. Focussing mostly on the original Roy
Harper, we also get some insight to Oliver Queen, Connor, Jaime and
Megan.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Besides this, we
obviously get a good action scene to feed our hunger for teenagers
beating the everlasting love out of stuff. With the subject of the
scene in mind, I have to say that they really had to go inventive to
be able to make it seem inventive.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
In the end, the episode
did deliver on all fronts. It was quite satisfying, and it sets
everything for the episodes that lie ahead.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Now for some more
spoilerfic details.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Let's start this segment
off with the minor parts of the story. Jaime, Connor and Megan all
had a minute or so of screentime that pushed these characters forward
quite a bit.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Jaime expresses himself
as being the one hero that doesn't have a mentor to look up to. Even
Bart Allen suddenly has three Flashes to look after him when he
arrived. But for Jaime, his only real mentor died. Ted Kord died a
heroes death, and now people even think that Jaime is just Ted Kord
in a brand new suit. It really pushes home that Jaime feels singled
out and alone.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Connor had his birthday,
getting congratulations from only one person. Wendy. Probably not the
Wendy that is going to get horribly eaten by a wonder dog. Anyways,
it really shows that he too feels more than alone than ever, but that
he has someone new in his life that could fill that void. A very nice
story element, that opens up the ball game for a whole lot of new
plays. Like the not aging bit, which Wendy even noticed.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Megan still has feelings
for Connor. Perhaps just as a friend, but they are still there, as
she feels guilty for not throwing a party for Connor as she did each
year. It's simply, yet sweet. And we also see the girls of the team
go on a bachelorette party that really has the best scene in the
entire episode. The one with the moron on the rooftop. Loved it.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
But really, the meat of
the episode lies with Team Arrow. The real Roy is in a hospital bed,
told everything about what has happened in the meantime. Most
importantly, he was told about what happened to him. What follows are
scenes that very well written, and show development in ways that you
can expect from quality material such as this.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Especially how they
manage to quickly add in development for Olly, and how he feels about
himself. I sense alcoholism brewing. But, the thing that was in my
mind as Clone Roy and Olly were in the chapel was “Roy's gone.
Roy's gone. Roy's gone.” they go back. Oh hey, Roy's gone.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
What follows is Roy
getting even with the man that did everything to him, resulting in
the fall of Speedy and the rise of Arsenal. Done right.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
END SPOILERS</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
Like I said, this is by
far the best episode that this season has to offer. It doesn't only
develop the characters, but it sets up for future episodes as we see
a whole lot more plotthreads get started.
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
<br />
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify;">
I give it a 9/10</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyways, back to the point. Here we have a new set of pictures that I created using various freebies for DAZ Studio 4 and models available from the get-go. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First up we have our good girl: Cassie Van Buren, who I have previously introduced alongside Lara the cat :3 She's a nice mixture of geek, musician and girl next door. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><b>Title: First time LIVE</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next up we have a girl who is working her way through college: Jane Smith. She's smart, tough and knows how to get what she wants. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=TheMysteriousJaneDoe.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="480" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/TheMysteriousJaneDoe.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><b>Title: The Mysterious Jane Doe</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lastle I present to you Ellie, a character created using the Aiko 3 model instead of Genesis. Her name is Ellie. She's a sweet girl who enjoys life to its fullest, having interests everywhere to sample everything the world has to offer. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Also, we have Nathan in one of these pictures, her boyfriend. And, that's about it for him ... eeeeyup. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=Loveisinthegazebo.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="640" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Loveisinthegazebo.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><b>Title: Chillin' by the pool</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've actually created one more character named Mona. But, I haven't created a full scene with her yet. But, until then, I'd like to present to you a render of this character. Coming from a middle-classed family, she struck gold with her modeling carreer and has since then become a typical rich girl with a heart of pure gold, making sure to give more to her family than herself. Though, that still means she spends a lot. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=Mona2.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="640" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Mona2.png" width="502" /></a></div>Fandangohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02620250866204771976noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6785295144751788409.post-67043152034413112342012-07-19T23:51:00.002+02:002012-07-19T23:51:39.414+02:00TAG - The DAZ Files<div style="text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: small;"><u><b>TAG - The DAZ Files</b></u></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Recently, I picked up DAZ Studio Pro on the recommendations on a friend of mine, who'll be linked at the bottom of the page. It's in Flemish though, so reading it might be a tad bit difficult. Anyways, DAZ is a 3D character render program and it comes pretty bare bones. I downloaded a lot of freebie stuff, but it's still not much to work with. This is what I managed to come up with so far:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The character in all of the following images is named Cassie, by the way. These are all chronological as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=Cassie.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="640" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Cassie.png" width="470" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=Cassie2.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Cassie2.png" width="186" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=BlackLanternCassie.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/BlackLanternCassie.png" width="219" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=Cassie3.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/Cassie3.png" width="356" /></a></div>
<br />
These were all pretty basic concoctions, with me getting used to the entire program. Also trying out some new models and textures and whatnot.<br />
The next image however, is where I try to take everything to the next level. I introduce two items to the fray that had me deskslamming my head to try and get everything just right. Also, introducing a brand new character: Lara the cat! Based on my actual cat. :3<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/?action=view&current=CassieLara.png" target="_blank"><img alt="Photobucket" border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/Nephilim01/CassieLara.png" width="376" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In 2004, we saw the reboot of The Punisher hit the big screen. This time, it starred Thomas Jane as the titular character. And, by all rights, it was pretty god damn good movie. Its sequel, on the other hand, was simply god damn awful. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here we have Thomas Jane returning to the role in this short, but absolutely fabulous ten minute film that shows us that even low budget, ten minute videos can be better than any full length motion picture any day. I'm looking at you Punisher: Warzone. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's a short message from the man himself: </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and
believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an
incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their
time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from
start to finish -- we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as
much as we did making it." </div>
